BUSCAMOS VOLUNTARIOS PARA UN ESTUDIO DE INVESTIGACIÓN / WE ARE SEARCHING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR A STUDY RESEARCH

¿QUIERES PARTICIPAR EN UNA INVESTIGACIÓN SOBRE TRASTORNO OBSESIVO COMPULSIVO?

BUSCAMOS VOLUNTARIOS: Estamos desarrollando un estudio sobre el Trastorno Obsesivo Compulsivo (TOC) en la Universidad de Valencia (España), con el objetivo de conocer mejor las características del trastorno y poder mejorar los tratamientos terapéuticos actuales.

¿QUIÉN PUEDE PARTICIPAR?

Cualquier persona mayor de 18 años, de cualquier nacionalidad, capaz de hablar y comprender español y/o inglés de forma fluida:

• Con un diagnóstico de TOC (población clínica)

•  Sin  trastorno psicológico (población general)

¿EN QUÉ CONSISTE LA PARTICIPACIÓN?

•  Completar una entrevista (presencial o por Skype) en español o inglés (tiempo estimado 1.5h)

• Completar unos cuestionarios (tiempo estimado 45 min.)

• Una vez finalizada la investigación, a los participantes interesados se les proporcionará una valoración individualizada de los resultados, que podrán consultar en un link que se publicará en este mismo blog.

¿CONLLEVA ALGÚN PELIGRO?

• No

• Se trata de obtener información sobre los pensamientos intrusivos y obsesiones, tanto en población con TOC como en población general.

• El estudio se ajusta a lo establecido por la Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal (LOPD). Los datos obtenidos serán anónimos y  tratados única y exclusivamente con fines de investigación.

• El estudio  ha recibido la aprobación comité ético de la Universdad de Valencia.

            DO YOU WANT TO TAKE PART IN A RESEARCH STUDY ABOUT THE OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER?

WE SEARCH FOR VOLUNTEERS: We are developping a research study about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)  at the University of Valencia (Spain). Our aim is to acquire a better knowledge of this disorder in order to improve the current psychological treatments.

WHO CAN TAKE PART?

Anyone  older than 18, from any nationality, and  able to speak/ understand Spanish or/and English fluently:

• With an OCD diagnosis (clinical population)

• With no psychological disorder (general population)

WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO DO?

• You will  pass a clinical interview (face-to-face or by Skype) in Spanish or in English  (1.5 h aprox.)

•  You will complete  some questionnaires (45 minutes aprox.)

• Once the study research  will be finished, those  interested will obtain a personal assessment of their results  through a link that we will publish in this blog.

IS THERE ANY KIND OF RISK?

•  No.

• The aim is to obtain more information about intrusive thoughts and obsessions, in both samples OCD population and general population.

• In  accordance with  the Organic Law  15/1999, 13 December, on the Protection of the Personal Data, we inform you that your personal information will be completely anonymous  and will be used  only for research purposes.     

• The study has obtained  the approval of the  ethical committee at the University of Valencia.
